Selin S. Yıldırım has over 20 years of senior management and investment experience in both the healthcare and tourism sectors. Following her academic studies in Tourism and Hotel Management and in addition Business Administration, she began her professional journey in the hotel industry. She built a successful 15-year career, culminating in her role as Executive Board Member at Swissôtel İstanbul The Bosphorus, before transitioning into new industries.
She played a key role in the launch of MANPOWER in Turkey, where her exceptional contribution earned her the "Extraordinary Performance Award" for the EMEA region in 2003..
Since the founding of Dünyagöz Hospital Group, she has provided strategic consulting services in management and growth. Between 2005 and 2014, she was instrumental in shaping and executing the company’s expansion strategy as Executive Board Member of the group and General Manager of Dünyaaugen GmbH. During this period, she also pioneered a unique medical tourism model in Turkey—an approach that has since been adopted by many other players in the sector different parts of the world.
She was appointed as a Board Member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey, where she contributed for one year to the development of UK–Turkey trade relations.
She has served as a Health Policy Board Member for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey, contributing to national healthcare strategies.
Selin Yıldırım is certified in Master Professional Coaching, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and Hypnosis, and integrates these tools into her leadership and consulting practices. She currently provides strategic coaching and consulting to executives and companies in the healthcare and tourism/ hospitality industries.
She is the co founder of Mind Body Spirit Congress and Future Healthcare Congresss in Turkey.
Beyond her professional life, she is passionate about activities that enrich the mind, body, and spirit. She finds renewal through international travel, developing futuristic strategies, adventure sports, scuba diving, motocross.
